Meknès

Meknes is one of Morocco’s 4 imperial cities, alongside Fès, Rabat and Marrakech. Nicknamed “the city of a hundred minarets” because of its numerous mosques, Meknes is known for its incredible heritage, and in particular for the majestic gates that lead into the city. We recommend you start at Bâb Mansour, one of the most beautiful gates in the world, before strolling through the narrow streets of the medina.
